Banff National Park
The Banff Marathon will be held in Banff National Park. Banff National Park is the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a global treasure of natural beauty, wildness, and diversity of life - a beautiful and unique destination for this marathon. Imagine doing a marathon in such a beautiful spot - one of the most picturesque races in the world. The race takes place on Sunday June 18, allowing you to enjoy the Saturday social activities. Finish in downtown Banff with thousands of cheering spectators! This is the first marathon to be located in Banff National Park, making this experience extremely special and unique.

Banff National Park entry fees go towards maintaining the park’s roadways, viewpoints, day use areas and trails – and the information, education, resource protection and public safety services offered by Parks Canada staff.
